Mahwah Public Library
Winter Meeting Room

The Winter Room seats approximately 140 and is available to all eligible non-commerical community groups, organizations, and tax-supported government bodies for public meetings. A small kitchen for preparation of simple refreshments is available.

At this time, applications for use of the Winter Room must be made in writing (online application form coming soon!):

  1. Please read and understand the Winter Room Use Policy first!
  2. Read and understand the Insurance Requirements and Sample Certificate of Insurance (2 pages).
  3. Print and complete the Application Form (2 pages) and Hold Harmless Agreement (2 pages) and submit in person Monday through Friday, 10 am - 4 pm, or mail to the Library Business Office. Applications must be received in a timely manner to permit review and approval at a regularly scheduled Board Meeting (third Wednesday of each month, except July and August).
  4. After your application is approved, obtain a Certificate of Insurance as instructed, and submit it to the Business Office in advance of your meeting.
